Customer Review: A MUST for dutch oven cooking

This lid lifter is so great, I won't ever do dutch oven cooking without it again.
The heavy iron lifter will pick up lids of dutch ovens covered in hot coals, allowing me to check or stir the food in the oven. It also lets us quickly rotate our lids and ovens (we do that every 10-15 minutes so the meals inside cook evenly).
The long handle keeps our hands safely away from the heat of the oven and red-hot briquettes.
